Palki is a company that started small but with a big dream. It all started in a garage, where the founder feared how they would pay for a small workshop to start their journey. But eventually, they got one at a cheaper rate and started their manufacturing journey.
Despite the challenges, they pushed through and did not give up. They used a washroom from a nearby mosque for five months as they didn’t have one in their small workshop. But they knew they would need a bigger space to deliver their products to their customers, and so they moved to a ~8000 sq. ft factory.
The bigger space had a welding shop, paint shop, assembly shop, and test lab, and they continued to push for a stamping machine to make their products even better. Palki is proud to have received investment from an “undisclosed name” and respected Sonia Bashir Kabir apu and SBK Tech Ventures, who believed in their dream.
The goal of Palki is to make 100% made in Bangladesh electric cars that are affordable for everyone. The company wants to show the world that Bangladesh can manufacture world-class electric vehicles, made by Bangladeshis for the world.
In conclusion, Palki’s journey from a garage to a factory is an inspiration to all entrepreneurs. With hard work, determination, and a dream, anything is possible. Follow Palki’s journey as they work towards making the electric car dream a reality.
